I stood in a room filled with hundreds of people and asked them to repeat after me, “Hope is not a strategy.” And they did it. But it helped because I had it on my chest – on a custom-designed t-shirt. Nothing fancy. Just the words. But large enough to read from thirty feet away.
And then someone came up and asked if they could buy one.
This wasn’t the first time I’d worn a shirt with words on it. Nor the first time someone had asked if they could buy one like mine.
But it did drive the idea that some of my shirts, with some of my phrases, might be something others would wear.
So I started having some conversations. And this site is the result.
